MOLINE, ILLINOIS (August 17, 2026) — The Board of Directors of Renew Moline announces the acquisition of the Washington Square Apartments in downtown Moline, a ten-unit building located at 316-17th Street.

The late-19th century structure was originally five, three-story townhome-style units. The building was constructed at the direction of Charles H Deere, and designed by Merton Yale Cady, Mr Deere’s brother-in-law, and an important architect/builder in the Midwest during that time.
