Annual Holiday Open House Sunday, November 22nd, Noon to 4 p.m.

The Bettendorf Discovery Shop in Cumberland Square invites you to their Annual Holiday Open House Sunday, November 22nd from Noon to 4 pm.

The American Cancer Society's Discovery Shop is ready to kick off the holiday season.  Mark your calendars and plan to stop by and help us to ring in the season as we unveil all of our wonderful holiday items. The shop will be bursting at the seams with all kinds of Santas, snowmen, nativity sets, holiday clothing, ornaments, village pieces, collectibles, and many other fantastic items.  If you will be looking for the perfect sweater for your upcoming theme parties be sure to stop by and look through our great selection, we have lots of contest winners.  What a great way to help in the fight against cancer!

The shop will be closed Saturday, November 21st to prepare for this event.

The Discovery Shop is an upscale resale shop.  All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society to fund cancer research, patient services, education and advocacy.

If you have items that you would like to donate for this event, donations are accepted anytime the shop is open and a tax receipt is always available.  Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 am to 5 pm, Thursday from 10 am to 7 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm.

The Bettendorf Discovery Shop in Cumberland Square is excited to announce that Thursday, October 15th from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. we will be revealing our beautiful collection of fur coats and accessories, and our stunning special occasion men's and women's clothing, jewelry, and accessories.

 

The Discovery Shop is ready to help you to sparkle, shine, and glow for a great cause!  Stop in on Thursday morning to be the first to see all of the lovely items that we have available.  We will help you to find just what you need for your upcoming special occasions, and you can help us to raise money to help in the fight against cancer.  Our donors have been very generous; we have an amazing assortment of items for you to choose from.

 

The Discovery Shop is an upscale resale shop selling gently used items all donated by the community it is owned and operated by the American Cancer Society with the proceeds going for cancer research, education, patient services, and advocacy.   The shop is run mainly by a staff of over 80 volunteers.  If you are interested in joining our volunteer group stop in the shop and join us in the fight against cancer.

American Cancer Society Bettendorf Discovery Shop to host Safari Reveal

All of the volunteers and staff at the Bettendorf Discovery Shop are hoping that you will be able to join us for three days of wild bargains.  Our summer clearance on Friday, August 14th kicks things off, with all clothing half price.  Then on Saturday, August 15th everything in the shop will be half price.  Lastly, will be our Safari Reveal that starts on Monday, August 17Th.

Lion, tiger, giraffe &zebra prints of every kind, it is going to be a jungle in here! Kicking off on Monday, the store will be full of safari printed clothing, shoes, jewelry, handbags, household accessories, and more.  With a wide variety of styles, sizes and brands the shop will be full of beautiful items for you to search out.  Safari prints are always a fall favorite so be sure to stop by and pick up your wardrobe additions at wild prices!

Thanks to the generosity of the community, the Discovery Shop raises money by selling gently used items donated by individual donors and local businesses.  Helping to make the shop such a success is the staff of wonderful volunteers that donate their time, if you are interested in joining our volunteer team we are always happy to have extra hands to help.   All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society for cancer research, education, patient services and advocacy.

Donations needed and welcomed anytime the shop is open and a tax receipt is always available.  Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 am to 5 pm., Thursday from 10 am to 7 pm. and Saturday from10 am to 4 pm.
