The Bettendorf Discovery Shop invites you to join them beginning Thursday, April 9^th for their 23^rd annual cookbook and kitchenware event.   

We will have a vast collection of new and vintage cookbooks that will be a delight for new and experienced cooks to see.  Healthy cooking books, ethnic cooking, desert ideas, everyday cooking idea books, and the always favorite groups and churches cookbooks are just some of what you will see.  Plus we have a great selection of cooking aids, gadgets, small appliances, pans, and other fun things for you kitchen.  

If you love to cook, or know someone that does, this will be the perfect day for you to shop at the Discovery Shop.  If you have cookbooks or cooking related items that you would like to donate for this event we would be happy to have them. 

The Discovery Shop is an upscale resale shop selling gently used items donated by the community and staffed by over 100 volunteers.  Proceeds go to the American Cancer Society for cancer research, education, patient services and advocacy.

Donations are accepted anytime the shop is open and a tax receipt is always available.  Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 am to 5 pm., Thursday from 10 am to 7 pm. and Saturday from10 am to 4 pm.

The Bettendorf Discovery Shop in Cumberland Square invites you to their Annual Holiday Open House Sunday, November 23rd from noon to 4 pm.

All of the volunteers and staff at the Bettendorf Discovery Shop are hoping that you will be able to join us Monday, May 5th for our Garden event.  We are all ready to welcome a long awaited spring by filling the shop with a variety of beautiful spring things that have been donated over the last year.

The store will be bursting with lovely items for your home and garden.  Plants & flowers for inside and outside, pictures, dishes, yard decorations, birdhouses, the list goes on and on.  We will also have lots of beautiful flowered clothing and accessories to brighten your day.  There will be a lot of great things to see, so we hope that you can stop by and take part in the fun!

The American Cancer Society's Discovery Shop in Cumberland Square invites you to bargain shop for a cause!  Sunday, February 2nd will be our annual super clearance sale EVERYTHING in the store will be half price.

Mark your calendars and stop in to grab all of the bargains that you can find and be back home long before the big game starts.  We are clearing out the floor to make room for all of the new and beautiful donations that we have recently been receiving.  With the new things that we will be putting out on the floor starting Monday, February 3rdthe bargains will continue long after the game is over.
