BURLINGTON, IOWA (June 26, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits took advantage of two late errors by the Burlington Bees to even the series with a 7-5 victory at Community Field.  Burlington missed out on several opportunities to tie or take the lead, stranding nine on base in the game and six in the final four innings.

BURLINGTON, IOWA (June 25, 2019) — The Burlington Bees scored eight runs in the bottom of the first inning to run away with a 9-0 victory over the Quad Cities River Bandits in a rain-shortened game on Tuesday night at Community Field. River Bandits starting-pitcher Matt Ruppenthal was chased from the game after facing seven batters without recording an out. 

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 24, 2019) — Quad Cities River Bandits outfielder Ross Adolph has been named the Midwest League Player of the Week for the week of June 17-23. He has received the honor for a second consecutive week. Adolph is the only River Bandits position player to earn a weekly award in 2019. Jose Bravo, Shawn Dubin, Luis Garcia and Cody Deason have each been named pitcher of the week previously.

BELOIT, WISCONSIN (June 23, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits scheduled game in Beloit on Sunday afternoon was postponed due to unplayable field conditions at Pohlman Field. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader when the River Bandits return to Beloit July 27-29.

BELOIT, WISCONSIN (June 22, 2019) — Both the Quad Cities River Bandits and Beloit Snappers scored their runs in the same four innings on Saturday night at Pohlman Field. The difference was the River Bandits four-run outburst in the top of the first inning that led to a 7-4 victory. Quad Cities pounded 12 hits in the game and seven of the nine starters finished with at least one.

BELOIT, WISCONSIN (June 21, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits grabbed an early 2-0 lead, but never scored again as the Beloit Snappers evened the series with a 4-2 win on Friday night. Logan Farrar’s go-ahead two-run single in the third inning represented the decisive blow for the Snappers.

BELOIT, WISCONSIN (June 21, 2019) — Ross Adolph pounded three extra-base hits and nearly hit for the cycle as the Quad Cities River Bandits opened the second half of their season with a 7-2 victory over the Beloit Snappers on Thursday night. Adolph finished 4-5 with two doubles, a home run, and two runs batted in.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 17, 2019) — Quad Cities River Bandits outfielder Ross Adolph has been named the Midwest League Player of the Week and pitcher Jose Bravo the league’s Pitcher of the Week for the week of June 10-16. Adolph is the first River Bandits position player to earn a weekly award in 2019. Bravo is the fourth River Bandits pitcher to be honored by the league, joining Shawn Dubin, Luis Garcia, and Cody Deason.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 16, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits closed out the first half of their 2019 season with a dramatic 3-2 win over the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on Sunday afternoon at Modern Woodmen Park. Ross Adolph’s go-ahead two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning proved to be the difference as the River Bandits reached the all-star break with a 43-23 record.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 14, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits outhit the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on Friday night at Modern Woodmen Park, but the one they needed in the final inning evaded them as they fell by a 3-2 score in the opening game of the series. With one run already in and the tying run at second base in the bottom of the ninth, Ross Adolph’s hard line-drive toward left was stabbed by Wisconsin’s third baseman to end the game.
