ANKENY, IOWA (December 3, 2019) — The State of Iowa once again leads by example, with Governor Kim Reynolds today issuing an Executive Order requiring state agencies to purchase diesel engines and vehicles with manufacturer support for at least a 20 percent blend of biodiesel (B20).

ANKENY, IOWA (November 12, 2019) — Iowa agricultural and biofuels groups are encouraging Iowa farmers and consumers to make their voices heard by submitting comments on EPA’s recently proposed rule that was supposed to protect the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) from refinery exemptions.

The Iowa Corn Growers Association, Iowa Soybean Association, Iowa Biodiesel Board, and Iowa Renewable Fuels Association issued the following statement:

ANKENY, IOWA (October 4, 2019) — The Iowa Biodiesel Board joined other renewable fuel and farm advocates today in thanking the president for directing the Environmental Protection Agency to properly account for future small refinery exemptions in annual Renewable Fuel Standard rules.

ANKENY, IOWA (September 2, 2019) — New public opinion research shows a decisive 78 percent of voters in Iowa support expanding biofuel usage in the US through the federal Renewable Fuel Standard. In addition, 77 percent of voters said it’s important to them that the president keep his promises on supporting the RFS. The Iowa Biodiesel Board commissioned the bi-annual survey on biodiesel awareness and biofuel-related political values.
