DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 17, 2023) — Palmer College has entered into a licensing agreement with nationally-known retailer RAYGUN of Des Moines. RAYGUN, famous for its T-shirts carrying tongue-in-cheek messages is teaming up with Palmer to share Palmer pride and spread the word about Palmer College and the chiropractic profession.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 11, 2023) — A $1 million gift from 1977 Palmer College of Chiropractic graduate Paul Hetrick DC, will empower the College to grow its Sports and Rehabilitation Residency program. The program is the longest-standing program of its kind in the nation, offering Doctors of Chiropractic the opportunity to build their clinical skills and earn specialized credentials while teaching parts of the Palmer curriculum.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (July 26, 2022) — Former Palmer College of Chiropractic President Donald P “Don” Kern DC died Sunday, July 24 at the age of 86. Funeral services are planned for noon, Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Newcomb Presbyterian Church, in Davenport. The visitation will take place 10AM-noon at the church.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (December 10, 2019) — Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research is looking for people between the ages of 21 and 65 with low-back pain to take part in a clinical study.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 15, 2019) — Chiropractic students at Palmer College of Chiropractic will now have another opportunity to enhance their hands-on learning experience. Palmer College of Chiropractic has entered into an affiliation agreement to establish a preceptorship program with the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) Department of Neurosurgery. This preceptorship program will enhance patient care, education and research opportunities for both institutions.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 25, 2019) — Palmer College of Chiropractic has formed new academic affiliations with four Veterans Affairs hospitals: Mann Grandstaff Veterans Affairs Hospital in Spokane, Washington; Tuscaloosa, Alabama Veteran’s Affairs hospital in Tuscaloosa; Chillicothe, Ohio Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Chillicothe; and Veteran’s Affairs Pittsburgh Healthcare System in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (February 28, 2019) — Palmer College of Chiropractic recently signed new agreements with Missouri Western State University (MWSU) in St. Joseph, Missouri; Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa; Seminole State College of Florida in Sanford, Florida; and Mount Aloysius College in Cresson, Pennsylvania, that expand Palmer’s accelerated degree-completion pathway, the 3+1 Program.
