Hy-Vee and Local First-Responders to Give Away 400 Hams in Quad Cities

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (March 24, 2021) — As part of its annual One Step Hams for the Holidays campaign, Hy-Vee employees and local first-responders will distribute 400 Hormel® Cure 81® hams on Thursday, March 25, beginning at 5PM. The event, which benefits families in need, will be held at the SouthPark Mall.

Hy-Vee and Local First Responders to Give Away 225 Hams in Galesburg

GALESBURG, ILLINOIS (December 18, 2019) — As part of its 3rd Annual Hy-Vee Hams for the Holidays campaign, Galesburg-area Hy-Vee employees and local first responders will distribute 225 Hormel® Cure 81® hams on Thursday, December 19, to benefit families in need this holiday season.

Hams will be available starting at 5PM at the Public Safety Building, 150 S Broad St, in Galesburg. The event will run for one hour or until all hams are distributed, whichever occurs first.

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (June 14, 2019) — Hy-Vee Inc, in conjunction with The Jel Sert Company, the American Childhood Cancer Organization (ACCO), and 10 children’s hospitals, announced a new partnership in seven cities throughout the Midwest to bring unlimited flavored ice-pops to hospitalized children. The partnership with Hy-Vee further expands Jel Sert and the ACCO’s “Take a Pop, Share a Smile” program for hospitalized children battling cancer and other illnesses.
