ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (August 24, 2026) — On August 31, 765 new students from 28 states and 36 countries will begin their Augustana College journey. The incoming class includes 678 first-year students, 82 transfer students, and a total of five non-degree and exchange students, with 25 languages represented and a range of experiences and perspectives.

Augustana received more than 8,600 applications for the incoming class.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (August 17, 2026) — Trinity College of Nursing and Health Sciences will hold its first commencement and pinning ceremony as an affiliate of Augustana College on August 26, recognizing 25 graduates earning the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (August 1, 2026) — Augustana College announced more than 1,100 students were named to the Dean's List for the 2025-2026 spring semester. Students who have earned this academic honor have maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a four-point scale for courses taken during the term.

Nathan Acosta, a Biology major of Moline, Illinois, was named to Augustana College's Dean's List.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (May 13, 2026) — National Football League MVP Ken Anderson (’71) will present the commencement address at Augustana College’s 166th Commencement Convocation at 2PM, Saturday, May 23.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (April 13, 2026) — Augustana College's John Deere Planetarium and Fryxell Geology Museum will be open to the public on Saturday, April 25, 2026, for an evening of gazing and space shows.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (February 24, 2026) — The Augustana Symphonic Band, directed by Dr James Lambrecht, will bring performances to communities across Illinois and Wisconsin March 20-26. All concerts are open to the public. A freewill offering will be accepted.

The tour starts on March 20, 7:30PM, in Oregon, Illinois, and a home concert will be held in Augustana’s Centennial Hall, located at 3703 7th Ave, on April 11.
