FAYETTE, IOWA (April 28, 2020) — Upper Iowa University (UIU) and the US Army Field Artillery (FA) have announced an articulation agreement for Army Field Artillery (CMF13) enlisted soldiers to receive maximum credit toward the UIU Associate of Arts in liberal arts and Bachelor of Science information-systems degrees.

FAYETTE, IOWA (April 24, 2020) — Upper Iowa University's Celebrate UIU Day proved to be an inspirational success as the UIU community secured approximately $95,000 through 531 donations during an 1,857-minute period on Thursday, April 16, and Friday, April 17. Support for Celebrate UIU Day continued with nearly $1,300 in additional contributions after the fundraising event had ended.

FAYETTE, IOWA (February 18, 2020) — Upper Iowa University (UIU) has signed a Transfer Majors agreement with Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) to provide participating students with a specific pathway to meet degree requirements. EICC announced the innovative statewide plan Tuesday, February 18, at the Scott Community College (SCC) Urban Campus in Davenport.

FAYETTE, IOWA (January 14, 2020) — The online undergraduate programs at Upper Iowa University (UIU) are once again ranked among the top online bachelor degree programs nationwide by US News and World Report. The recognition also includes being ranked among the best online programs for veterans.

 

FAYETTE, IOWA (September 27, 2019) — A pair of Peacock alumni, who combined to teach over 60 years following their college graduation, have been named the Upper Iowa University "Tie Dye and Tailfeathers" Homecoming Parade grand marshals. Al ('56) and Jan ('64) (Mork) Seabrooke of Elgin, Iowa, will lead the annual Homecoming parade in downtown Fayette at noon on Saturday, October 5.
