Mount Pleasant, Iowa: May 1, 2018 − The historic Iowa Wesleyan University Concert Choir and vocal chamber ensemble Primae Voces will present their tour program “At the Round Earth’s Imagined Corners” Sunday, May 6th  at 7:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant.

This high energy program is comprised of sacred and secular choral music spanning a variety of historical genres and stylistic forms and concluding with a host of American spirituals.

Mount Pleasant, Iowa: May 2, 2018 - Iowa Wesleyan University presents its May Commencement honoring graduates on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 1:30 pm in Howe Student Activity Center in Ruble Arena.  The University Baccalaureate will also be held earlier in the day at 10:30 am in University Chapel.

Mount Pleasant, Iowa: April 26, 2018 - Iowa Wesleyan University held its annual Awards Day featuring academic and student leadership and service recognitions. The university recognized students for exemplary achievement in their majors, their leadership on campus and their involvement in the community. The awards ceremony also included the announcement of the most prestigious student award given annually, the President’s Award.

At the Round Earth’s Imagined Corners

Mount Pleasant, Iowa: April 25, 2018 – Over 60 voices will be raised in the presentation of Iowa Wesleyan’s Spring Concert At the Round Earth’s Imagined Corners. The Iowa Wesleyan University Choir, Primae Voces and The Mount Pleasant Chorale will perform on Sunday, April 29, in University Chapel.  The performance begins at 7 pm.

Mount Pleasant, Iowa: February 20, 2018 - Dr. Peggy Whitson ’81, renowned record-breaking NASA astronaut returned to Iowa Wesleyan University, her alma mater, for the 176th birthday of the University. Dr. Whitson was the featured keynote speaker for Founders Day, addressing a standing room only crowd at the University Chapel on February 14. Before taking the stage, Dr. Whitson was presented the Presidential Medal for Outstanding Merit by Steven E.
