Purdue Confers Degree to Roy Fisher Following Spring Semester

WEST LAFAYETTE, IN (09/04/2013)(readMedia)-- Purdue University awarded about 7,100 degrees to students following the spring semester.

Those earning degrees include :

Roy Fisher of Taylor Ridge, IL, who earned a BS in Aero & Astro Engineering degree from the School of Aero and Astro Engr.

Purdue Students Recognized for Academic Achievements

WEST LAFAYETTE, IN (08/29/2013)(readMedia)-- About 13,600 Purdue University students earned semester honors for the spring 2013 semester.

To earn semester honors, students must be attending at least half-time, have at least a 3.5 semester grade point average and at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA.

Purdue students named to dean's list

WEST LAFAYETTE, IN (08/29/2013)(readMedia)-- About 9,600 Purdue University students were named to the dean's list for the spring 2013 semester. To be named to the dean's list, a student must have completed at least 12 credit hours, be enrolled at least half-time, have a semester grade point average of at least 3.0 and have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

Local students participate in summer program at Purdue University

WEST LAFAYETTE, IN (08/20/2012)(readMedia)-- Local students took the first step in becoming Boilermakers by participating in the annual STAR program at Purdue University's West Lafayette campus.

Madison Schmid of Bettendorf, IA

Summer Transition, Advising and Registration (STAR) is Purdue's program for new undergraduate students to receive academic advice and create their initial course schedule. Incoming students select their one-day STAR session and come to Purdue's West Lafayette campus to conduct this and other important business.
