BETTENDORF, IOWA (March 31, 2026) — Two new members have joined the Quad Cities Community Foundation Board of Directors, further strengthening the organization’s leadership as it continues its work to build a more connected and generous region.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (December 23, 2025) — The Quad Cities Community Foundation has awarded its 2025 Transformation Grant to the Quad Cities Housing Council in support of the region’s first large-scale, multi-agency affordable-housing-development initiative. The $300,000 grant will be distributed over three years.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (September 1, 2025) — This summer marked a milestone for Illinois philanthropy. The state’s charitable tax credit program — Illinois Gives entered a new era, with improvements that promise to empower donors and communities.

The achievement follows years of organization and advocacy by the Alliance of Illinois Community Foundations, a collaborative network of community foundations, including the Quad Cities Community Foundation.

Now, national support for programs like Head Start is becoming less certain. For many parents, especially those earning low wages or working non-traditional hours, access to affordable, high-quality early education is out of reach.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (March 27, 2025) — Awarded to EveryChild in 2018, a Quad Cities Community Foundation Transformation Grant supported the organization’s visionary work and provided momentum for growth. Seven years later, EveryChild is still helping to change the landscape of support for expectant parents in Rock Island County and Scott County. More than 100 safe, happy babies later, EveryChild is showing what real transformation looks like.
