BREAKING: U.S. Senator Max Baucus to retire

Members from the Tea Party Express are currently in the great state of Montana, lining up plans for the 2014 elections, and we just received some breaking news, Montana U.S. Senator Max Baucus will not seek re-election in 2014 and will retire.

You might know Senator Baucus as he played a key role in shaping President Obama's landmark health care law, Obamacare.   This is a great opportunity to take this Senate seat, and Tea Party Express is already on the ground in Montana making plans to do so, but we need your support!

Here is the story that the news outlets are reporting:
This represents a great opportunity to replace the 6-term Democrat with the next Ted Cruz and Rand Paul! We are currently driving across the great state of Montana in preparation for this election.

Adhering to the old axiom "the future belongs to those that prepare for it today," we here at the Tea Party Express are traveling the country, meeting with potential Congressional candidates. If we are going to be successful in defending the House and taking the Senate, we need solid, electable conservative candidates.

Sarah Palin: the conservative movement has not been brighter!

In case you missed it, over the weekend, Sarah Palin gave a rousing and inspiring speech at CPAC.  We here at the Tea Party Express were at CPAC along with Sarah Palin and were inspired by the words that she had for the crowd and America.

Sarah Palin reminds us that the conservative movement has not been brighter and that our job is not done.  We must keep fighting for the conservative ideals that made this country great!

Help us take back the Senate!

Dear Friends,

I know that most of you, as well as the media, are focused on the heated presidential election, but we can't lose sight of something that is as important as winning the White House - taking control of the Senate!

The Tea Party Express, the nation's largest tea party political action committee, is proud to announce its endorsement of Ted Cruz in his campaign for the U.S. Senate in the state of Texas.

One of Tea Party Express' top priorities in 2012 is to elect a conservative majority to the U.S. Senate, and thanks to patriots like Ted Cruz, we are well on our way to doing just that.  But we need your support if we are going to be successful and finish the work we alll started in 2010.
We were careful in our endorsement selection. When all is considered, Ted Cruz's knowledge of the Constitution and focus on limiting the size, cost, and intrusiveness of the federal government make him not only the strongest candidate in the race, but one of the strongest Tea Party candidates in the nation.
We need representatives that are willing to pursue an agenda that tackles America's out-of-control debt. Mr. Cruz's steadfast commitment to repealing Obamacare, passing a balanced budget amendment, and cutting spending show his dedication to conservative principles that force Washington to live within it's means.
The Tea Party Express has already endorsed Senate candidates Jon Bruning in Nebraska and Richard Mourdock in Indiana and plans to continue a series of endorsements over the next few months
