SANCTUARY CHOIR WORKS BY HAYDN AND MATHIAS

IOWA CITY - The Sanctuary Choir, with organist Bill Crouch and a string orchestra, under the direction of John C. Hughes will perform the Haydn Kleine Orgelsolomesse this coming Sunday, April 29 at 10:15am, at the Congregational United Church of Christ, 30 N. Clinton Street in Iowa City.

The Choir will also present the anthem composed for the marriage of the Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer, Let the People Praise thee, O God, by William Mathias.

Lenten Musical Meditations Begin FEBRUARY 29 - Congregational UCC

IOWA CITY -  The popular series of Lenten Musical Meditations returns to The Congregational United Church of Christ, 30 N. Clinton Street in Iowa City beginning on February  29 at noon.  Each event will begin at noon and last for approximately 25 minutes.  Everyone is welcome to attend these free events.

February 29:    Marie von Behren, Voice, and Bill Dickinson, Organ

March 7:          University of Iowa Organ Students

March 14:        T. Andrew Hicks, Organ

March 21:        Melanie Moll Sigafoose, Organ

March 28:        Ruth Hurlbut, Organ
