Des Moines, IA – Iowa Democratic Party Chair Troy Price released the following statement on Senate File 481: “SF 481 makes it clear that Iowa’s fields of opportunity are only available to the white immigrants who moved here before the Republican Party embraced xenophobia. This bill addresses a problem that does not exist, wastes the tax payer funded time of our lawmakers, and it will make our communities less safe.
