The Quad Cities trio, the Kinoslav Studio Orchestra will be performing live on Friday, 24 October at Trinity Anglican Church, 1818 6th Avenue in Rock Island. Come and enjoy an evening of ambient music in a breathtaking setting. The Orchestra invites you to be their guest for a couple of hours of meditative music - feel free to bring a pillow, cushion, or blankets, and settle in for a truly relaxing and psybient experience. There is no cover charge, but you are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for the local food pantry. The evening begins at about 8 PM, and you should feel free to come and go (quietly) as you please.
The Kinoslav Studio Orchestra is based in Rock Island and Davenport, and have just recently released their first album, "ICON", on the Silent Flow Netlabel from Chisinau, Moldova. Their music is both organic and electronic, and is grounded in the ambient and classical avant-garde traditions.
