(Washington, DC, September 19, 2017) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue today gave high marks to Steve Censky and Ted McKinney for their joint appearance before the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry.  President Donald Trump has nominated Censky to service as Deputy Secretary of Agriculture, while McKinney is the president’s choice to be the very first Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs.  The two await approval of the entire U.S.

Today, the OIG published findings from its audit on "National Organic Program International Trade Arrangements and Agreements." OIG began its review of the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) National Organic Program (NOP) in early 2016.
