Vettes on the River

Saturday, August 26, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

LeClaire Levee, 117 South Front Street, LeClaire IA

With current registration already having broken last year's record of 403 Corvettes, LeClaire's annual late-summer car show will again celebrate classic vehicles and America's servicemen, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting Vietman Veterans of America, Chapters 299, 776, and 669.

An all-Corvette event with its best-in-show competition judged by local veterans, the 2017 Vettes on the River will feature awards given to first, second, and third place winners for each generation of competing Corvette, with the 3 p.m. awards presented alongside the day-ending donations made to Vietman Veterans of America. Vettes on the River also boasts live music by Cosmic, an 11 a.m. Vietnam Veterans Color Guard Flag Ceremony, raffle drawings, a 50/50, a silent auction, and Levee Pavilion breakfast and lunch provided by Big Dave & Holly's, with shopping and dining specials available through numerous area businesses.

Admission is a minimum donation of $20 (cash or check only), and more information is available by visiting VettesOnTheRiver.com.
