· If you've caught the smooth fever of Norah Jones, a new seven-track EP reveals sessions from 2000 featuring covers of Magic Sam's "All Your Love" and Bob Dylan's "Heart of Mine." Simply titled The Peter Malick Group Featuring Norah Jones, the Koch Entertainment CD is the fruit of a friendship between the blues singer-songwriter and Jones, then a 21-year-old unknown artist trying to establish herself.

· Still warm from the hum of the speakers is Sanctuary Music's release next month of a two-CD set of live performances from last month's Bonnaroo festival. While the track list from the 70-plus acts that graced the Bonnaroo stage has not been finalized, look for tracks from Neil Young, Ben Harper, the Allman Brothers Band, James Brown, Lucinda Williams, and the Flaming Lips to make the cut. Later this fall, the label will issue a DVD documentary of this second annual event by photographer and filmmaker Danny Clinch.

· From Elvis Costello going deliberately off the set list to Johnny Cash singing with furry puppets, collections of musical moments from two of television's greatest shows are being polished for release later this summer. In August the Lion's Gate imprint will issue a highly anticipated five-DVD set of performances from Saturday Night Live and the show's 25 years of musical guests. Also on tap for early September is Sony Wonder's three-CD box set celebrating 35 years of Sesame Street, featuring fuzzy-cloth-and-human collaborations from guests such as R.E.M., the Spin Doctors, James Taylor, Paul Simon, Tony Bennett, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, and Lena Horne.

· This Tuesday brings the soundtrack to the second Lara Croft film, Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life. The Hollywood Records release features new tracks from Saliva, a new remix of Moby's "Jam for the Ladies," and P.O.D.'s "Satellite" freshly mixed by Paul Oakenfold. Other artists include Dandy Warhols, Filter, the Crystal Method, and Conjure One with Sinead O'Connor. In other soundtrack news, not only are the stars of Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th series teaming up for the upcoming blood fest Freddy Vs. Jason, the soundtrack is filled with interesting pairings such as Killswitch Engage with Howard Jones and Sepultura with Faith No More vocalist Mike Patton. Look for the Roadrunner Records set on August 15.
