Ingrid Michaelson It has been a furious two days, as late this Monday we confirmed what is just one of a number of flood-benefit shows that we're looking at staging here in the Quad Cities over the next month. We've been talking with some great bands about coming in here and donating their talents to help out those who lost a lot in the recent floods here in Iowa. All door proceeds for the show will go to local flood victims.

We found out less than 48 hours ago that the wonderful and talented Ingrid Michaelson will be playing a special happy-hour Daytrotter Presents show today, Wednesday, July 23, right here at Huckleberry's Pizza Parlor. Michaelson you'll know from her hit single "The Way I Am," which was prominently featured on an Old Navy commercial this past winter and much of last year. It's a great song and the rest of her debut record follows suit. She's one of the most talented young songwriters in the country, and she's currently on tour with the Dave Matthews Band. Tickets should go fast for this one, so if you're interested in reserving tickets for the 5 p.m. show, write to (daytrotter@gmail.com). It is first come, first served on e-mail.

We're also extremely excited to be presenting the Tapes 'N Tapes show August 14 at the Redstone Room. Our buddies Driver of the Year will be playing, and it should be a fantastic time. We'll be announcing a whole mess of August and September shows next week. Thanks so much for your support. - Daytrotter
