• Led Zeppelin fanatics get a big screen treat this coming Monday evening at 35 Regal Cinemas across the country, as the theatre chain will dim the lights for a special showing of No Quarter: Jimmy Page & Robert Plant Unledded one day before its DVD release. The Warner Strategic Marketing issue, also available on CD, first premiered on MTV in 1994.

• Call it creepy in an antiseptic, mass-marketed, suburban-hell sort of way, but Sony Music's Legacy imprint is pressing exclusive vinyl for the mallrats who haunt the goth superstore Hot Topic. Talk about pearls before swine: First up is a special repressing of The Clash's epic London Calling.

• In other vinyl-only news, this Tuesday Elektra and Rhino Records team up for a limited-edition (5,000 copies) audiophile release of Metallica's first four studio albums and two EPs, simply entitled Vinyl Box. Pressed on 180-gram slabs of luxurious "licorice pizza," the LPs will sport newly designed gatefold jackets and retail for about a hundred bucks.

• The first volume in Simon & Schuster's just released memoirs by Bob Dylan, Chronicles: Volume One, is also available in the audio-book format. Who's the voice reading Dylan's first-person narratives on four cassettes or five CDs? None other than actor Sean Penn.
