DAVENPORT, IOWA (November 8, 2023) — The holiday season is just around the corner, and the Downtown Davenport Partnership, City of Davenport, and Quad City Arts are excited to ring in the season with the third annual Christmas Tree Lighting at K-Square, located at 119 E 3rd Street, Friday, November 17, 6:30PM.

The free family-friendly event will feature Quad City Arts carolers kicking off the holiday season with plenty of holiday cheer as the huge Christmas tree is illuminated for the first time this season. The Christmas Tree Lighting takes place on the same day as the Festival of Trees Holiday Parade and the opening day of Festival of Trees in downtown. It’s the perfect day to kick off the holiday season with family and friends!

“There is no better way to usher in the holidays than to join us at K-Square as we light the magnificent tree,” said Kyle Carter, Executive Director for DDP. “Each year, our crowd grows larger, as does the holiday spirit.”
