MOLINE, ILLINOIS (March 22, 2023) — As your local community foundations, we wanted to make sure you were aware of this special grant opportunity for organizations in the creative sector.

The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity will distribute a historic $50 million in Illinois Creative Recovery Grants to assist arts and culture nonprofits, as well as a businesses and sole proprietors, that have struggled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The program will provide grants from $5,000 to $250,000 to concert and theater venues, performing or presenting arts organizations, arts education organizations, museums, cultural heritage organizations, and more in Illinois.
