Well, the City of Davenport Parks and Recreation Department has the perfect spot for you to visit.  It’s a big indoor sandbox at the Roosevelt Community Center, 1220 Minnie Avenue.

Parks and Recreation staff built the 18 feet by 20 feet sandbox last week and filled it with four truckloads of sand. The sandbox is for pre-school aged children and is open Monday through Friday from 8AM to 12PM,  now through March.  Admission is free. Children need to be supervised by an adult.

Scott Hock, Davenport Parks and Recreation Director is your contact, 326-7812.
