Arsenal's Government Bridge to Close for Repairs

ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL, Illinois – (Jan. 25, 2018) The U.S. Army Garrison Rock Island Arsenal Directorate of Public Works will close the Government Bridge to vehicular traffic to perform repair work for two three-day intervals.

The first closure will begin on Monday, Jan. 29, at 8:30 a.m. and last through Wednesday, Jan. 31, at 7 p.m.

The second closure will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 7, at 8:30 a.m. and last through Friday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m.

The bridge will remain open to pedestrian traffic. Signs and barricades will be used during the closure.
