DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 26, 2019) — Join us Saturday mornings in May at Eastern (6000 Eastern Ave) for a four-part series exploring the development of Western culture as reflected in the sculpture of the age.

Saturday, May 4, 10AM — We will discuss the definition of the Renaissance and the beginning of Renaissance sculpture.

Saturday, May 11, 10AM — Explore medieval through 15th-century sculpture, including the work of Donatello.

Saturday, May 18, 10AM — Explore the works of Michelangelo in the High Renaissance.

Saturday, May 25, 10AM — A continued discussion of Michelangelo, focusing on his sculpture and frescoes.
