ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (May 31, 2019) — Grab your blanket and head to Lincoln Park Theatre next weekend for "Ballet under the Stars: A Cultural Exchange"! This free event for all ages will feature performances from Ballet Quad Cities, and guests D4Dance Academy, Quad Cities Ballet Folklorico, Imani Tandazo, Mayer School of Irish Dance, and Ballet Quad Cities School of Dance. The evening promises new entertainment along with the classic second-act of "Giselle".

Every night at 7PM before the performance, for first time ever on the Lincoln Park stage, Ballet Quad Cities presents the popular outreach program Dance Me a Story. Children of all ages are invited to be a part of creating an original dance to the children’s book “I Got the Rhythm.” No experience or registration required. Read the story, put on costumes and music and dance on stage!

Thank you to our sponsors for this performance: Quad City Arts Dollars, provided by the Illinois Arts Council Agency, Hubbell-Waterman Foundation, and John Deere & Zimmerman Honda!
