BETTENDORF, IOWA (October 12, 2026) — Bettendorf High School Student Council is turning gently used clothing and household items into an opportunity to give back through Bulldogs Bins, a donation drive and community resale event benefiting the Student Hunger Drive.

Community members are encouraged to clean out their closets, donate gently used items, and shop for great deals while supporting local families facing food insecurity.

Donations will be accepted October 12–30, 8AM-3:30PM at the Bettendorf High School Main Office.

Items needed include:

  • Gently used, clean clothing of all sizes (no stains or holes)
  • Small household and décor items

The community is then invited to shop the Bulldogs Bins Resale Event on Saturday, October 31, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Bettendorf High School Commons.

Shoppers can browse a variety of affordable items, including graphic T-shirts, sweatshirts, home décor, and more. Cash and card payments will be accepted.

All proceeds from the event will support the Student Hunger Drive, helping provide food assistance to individuals and families in need throughout the community. Any unsold items will be donated.

Bettendorf High School Student Council encourages students, families, staff, and community members to participate by donating items, shopping the sale, or spreading the word.

Clean out your closets, discover great deals, and help Bulldogs make a difference!
