“In 2019, Border Foods opened its first-ever Taco Bell in the Quad Cities area — and, six years later, we couldn’t be more excited to open our fourteenth restaurant here, simultaneously marking our 250th Taco Bell location,” said Aaron Engler, president and CEO of Border Foods. “This milestone wouldn’t be possible without the continued support and enthusiasm from Davenport residents, as well as our exceptional, hardworking team members. We look forward to providing good food and quality service in the Davenport community for many more years to come.”

Wednesday’s grand opening event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Border Foods leaders and community partners and live music from the Assumption High School marching band, followed by a free taco combo promotion for the restaurant’s first 250 customers beginning at 11AM.

Border Foods is currently hiring at its new Taco Bell location, as well as several others across the state. Positions available at the Davenport location range from cashiers and cooks to shift leads and management. A complete list of job openings and an online application can be found here.
