This year's theme is Fire & Ice featuring ice sculpting by Robert Storm and raku firing with Joel Knanishu.
 
With the Downtown Rock Island Partnership, Mid­Coast is coordinating booth spaces for visual artists at Gallery HOP! The District of Rock Island will host local artists at a multitude of different venues during the holiday shopping season. There's NO CHARGE to participate.
 
A map will guide 'Hop­pers' to each venue. There are two $100 prizes for participating artists who conduct artist demonstrations to encourage interactive participation between artists and art loversEntries will be juried. When registering include the following:
  • Name
  • Phone/Cell
  • Email
  • Medium
  • Four digital examples of original artwork (similar to what you'd display)
Please indicate if you need larger load-in space and/or close vehicle access. Artists will receive a confirmation email, and a second email with set-up details, locations, etc.

Artists' demos are supported by a grant from the Rock Island Art Guild, a gift from Dr. Kurt Christoffel, and an anonymous donor.
