Join Beréskin Gallery Plein Air Painters for the Second Annual "Paint Out" Event July 21, 2018
Beréskin Fine Art Gallery and Art Academy will host the second annual "Plein Air Paint Out" event. Register between 7 and 8 a.m. at the Beréskin Gallery. Painters will select their site along the Bettendorf riverfront to paint for the day. The event is $15 and all painters are welcome. Return to the gallery at 4:30 p.m. for music, food and fellowship. Pat Bereskin is an art instructor and owner of Beréskin Fine Art Gallery and Art Academy. Pat's first oil painting was a cityscape. She remembers that it took a long time to complete but taught her many fundamentals of the art process. Pat grew up in Bettendorf and recently moved her gallery from Davenport to the Foster Music building. "I was so happy to bring art and art education to Bettendorf," says Pat. "With a dozen of our artists already involved in painting outdoors, it just seems natural to bring other painters to the Bettendorf riverfront for inspiration. I invite the public to come down to the riverfront or the evening reception to encourage the artists." Artwork from the day will be on display during the evening's festivities.
