This elegant dinner is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2009 in the camp lodge. The theme for this year will be "An Evening in Paris

The evening begins at 6 p.m. with socializing and hor d'oeuvres followed by elegant dining and entertainment provided by the University of Dubuque Jazz Band at 6:30 p.m. conducted by James Sherry, DMA, Assistant Professor of Fine and Performing Arts. The menu includes salad, soup, a choice of chicken or pork entree, and dessert, which will be served to guests with a French accent.

Camp Courageous of Iowa is a recreational and respite care facility for individuals with disabilities. It is run on donations, without government support, without paid fundraisers, and without formal sponsorship.

Tickets for the event are available for $25.00. For more information, or to make a reservation, contact Sharon Roller at 319-465-5916 (Extension 2200). All proceeds for this event goes to benefit the over 5,000 campers with special needs who visit Camp Courageous each year.
