Communities across the states have already taken steps to reduce agricultural pollution. Tyson’s new CEO, Tom Hayes, has announced plans to deliver ‘sustainable’ food at scale, but Tyson has yet to take action. We are asking Tyson to live up to their word and commit to a specific time-bound goal for ending water pollution in their supply chain.

We can make a difference and keep our communities and our environment clean. Come to our kick off meeting to find out how!

The people of the Quad Cities should know where their food is coming from and how it is being produced. We should have drinkable water and clean rivers and lakes that fit the scenic unique character of the area. Tyson can require their suppliers to abide by common-sense practices, such as crop rotation, keeping soil covered, and protecting natural prairies—all key steps in keeping pollution out of our waterways.

We can win and get Tyson Foods to clean up their meat if we build enough public support- starting right here in the Quad Cities, where we enjoy the Mississippi River and can easily find a Tyson facility nearby. So please join us on Tuesday night at the Fairmount Branch of the Davenport Public Library, 3000 N. Fairmount St., at 6:30 PM.  Join other concerned residents and local organizations to find out how to take on Tyson and plan for our sustainable future.  RSVP to let us know you can make it, and bring a friend!

Here is our petition if you haven't gotten a chance to sign it!
