CORALVILLE, IOWA (March 9, 2023) — Women’s history month is a time to reflect on the contributions of women and celebrate the influence they have had in shaping our history. Today, there is a new generation leading the charge and showing their strength to provide opportunities for all women to be successful in their own unique ways.
As one of 140 women’s funds around the globe, and the only statewide organization in Iowa to be addressing women’s economic self-sufficiency, we celebrate the women who have forged the path forward for ALL women. We pay tribute to those that are continuing this work across the globe and in our own backyards.
As you reflect on and celebrate the women that have been by your side, is there someone that has made a difference for you? Your mother? Sister? Next door neighbor? Colleague? Mentor? Share her story in the tenth edition of Ovation: A Tribute to Iowa Women and Girls. In doing so, you are chronicling her life as part of a collection of impactful stories and providing an opportunity for women and girls to follow in her footsteps. Ovation is a major fundraiser for IWF. Proceeds support the work of IWF through research, advocacy and grantmaking.
