MOLINE, ILLINOIS (May 19, 2026) — Downtown Moline’s popular Chillin’ in the Courtyard concert series returns for summer 2026 with four evenings of live music, cold drinks and laid-back Saturday nights in the heart of downtown.

Held at the Historic Block Courtyard, the free, all-ages series brings together regional talent, local flavor and a true summer atmosphere downtown. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, gather friends and settle in for evenings filled with live music, food, drinks and community.

Concerts take place at the Historic Block Courtyard, 1520 River Drive in downtown Moline, located between The River House and Dead Poet's Espresso Ltd. Limited seating will be available courtesy of Simply Amish Interiors.

Each concert evening begins with an opening act from 5–5:50 p.m., followed by the featured performance 6–8:30PM.

Headliner: Monica Austin

Opening Act: Patrick Moore

A Moline native and award-winning country performer known for powerhouse vocals and heartfelt storytelling, Monica Austin has shared stages with artists including Carly Pearce, Travis Tritt, and Wynonna Judd.

Saturday, July 11

Headliner: Paxton’s Top Shelf Trio

Opening Act: John Born

Special Performance at 4PM: Conquest Drum and Bugle Corps

Paxton’s Top Shelf Trio delivers a high-level blues performance featuring deep grooves, strong musicianship, and a tight rhythm section built for true live music fans.

Saturday, August 8

Headliner: Wicked Liz and the Bellyswirls

Opening Act: Ryan Bizarri

A Midwest favorite with more than 1,200 performances to its name, Wicked Liz and the Bellyswirls was inducted into the Iowa Rock 'n Roll Music Association Hall of Fame in 2025 and continues to bring decades of pop-rock Americana energy to the stage.

Saturday, September 12

Headliner: Dani Lynn Howe Band

Opening Act: Mo Carter

Known as one of the Midwest’s most versatile live bands, Dani Lynn Howe Band performs everything from classic country and rock to pop hits spanning multiple decades.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the series from downtown favorites including Bad Boyz Pizza and Pub, Dead Poet's Espresso Ltd, The River House, Bent River Brewing Company, Pour Bros Craft Taproom Moline, and Sins Tavern.

Whether attendees come for the music, the atmosphere or simply a night out downtown, Chillin’ in the Courtyard continues to be one of Moline’s favorite summer traditions.
