DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 29, 2026) — The City of Davenport will observe Independence Day as a holiday on Friday, July 3, 2026.

City Hall and Public Works will be closed. Police Department front desk and Records Bureau will be closed.

Main, Fairmount, and Eastern Library branches will be open Friday, July 3, and closed Saturday, July 4.

Parks and Recreation administrative offices will be closed.

The River’s Edge facility will be open until 5PM, Friday, July 3, and closed Saturday, July 4.

Vander Veer Conservatory will be closed Friday, July 3, and open Saturday, July 4.

RiverCenter administrative office will be closed.

Adler Theatre administrative office and box office will be closed.

Compost Facility will be closed Friday, July 3, and open 8AM– 3PM, Saturday, July 4, and Sunday, July 5.

CitiBus services will be provided on Friday, July 3.

There will be no services provided on Saturday, July 4.

There is no change to solid waste collection. Collection will occur on regularly scheduled pick-up days.
