Cold Weather Prompts Goodwill Stores to Close Early, Not Accept Donations at Drive-Ups
PRESS RELEASE (January 30, 2019) — Due to the severe cold weather conditions, Goodwill of the Heartland will close its 17 retail stores early at 4PM on Wednesday, January 30. For a list of locations affected, please visit www.goodwillheartland.org. Stores will also NOT be accepting donations at any locations until they open for business on Thursday, January 31 at 9AM. The organization values the safety of its employees, customers and donors and appreciates the flexibility of the public during this stretch of hazardous winter weather.
