ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI (May 14, 2026) — CPC Logistics truck driver Matthew Dosland, who is assigned to drive for John Deere in Davenport, Iowa, has been inducted into the National Private Truck Council (NPTC) Driver Hall of Fame. NPTC is the only national trade association in the United States exclusively dedicated to representing private fleets.

Each year, the NPTC Driver Hall of Fame inducts only four drivers from across the US who have demonstrated a lifetime of excellence on the highway, within their companies and in their communities. To qualify, drivers must have a minimum of 3 million miles, twenty years or 50,000 hours of driving; no preventable accidents; and be regularly employed or leased full-time at an NPTC member company and actively driving at the time of induction.

“I am truly honored to be recognized and represent CPC and John Deere in this way,” Dosland said.

“This is an exciting milestone.” CPC Regional Manager Kevin Adams has worked with Dosland for more than nine years.

“Not only is Matt an excellent driver, but he is also a dependable employee who sets a positive example for others,” Adams said.

“He trains many of our new drivers, which requires a lot of patience and dedication.”

With an impressive record of safe driving, Dosland is not just a trainer but a role model. He has been employed with CPC for 27 years and driven more than three million miles without a preventable accident.

“I tell new drivers to always pay attention to their surroundings and leave themselves plenty of time and space to react to anything that may suddenly happen in front of them, like a car braking or an obstacle in the road,” Dosland said.

Since the Driver Hall of Fame program began in 1987, NPTC has honored 156 drivers from a broad spectrum of the nation’s top private truck fleets. Including Dosland, sixteen truck drivers from CPC have been inducted into the Hall of Fame.

CPC’s ranks also include 118 NPTC Driver All-Stars and morethan270driverswhohavedrivenonemillionmilesormorewithoutapreventableaccident.

Dosland was inducted into the Hall of Fame at NPTC’s Annual Education Management Conference and Exhibition May 9-11, 2026, in Orlando, Florida.

“Matt always does the right thing regardless of whether or not anyone is looking,” Adams said.
