Enjoy the sounds of jazz piano presented by Dave Hepler of Indianapolis on October 6 at 7:00 p.m. at Quad City Arts Center, 1715 2nd Avenue, Rock Island. This concert is free, but donations are accepted and refreshments will be available.

With his latest CD "Song for my Father," the Indianapolis based jazz pianist Dave Hepler takes us along with him on an emotional journey which embraces and celebrates the influence of his father on his life and music. Dave Hepler is a man with impeccable chops who covers all the bases from blues to standards such as "Round Midnight" and "In a Sentimental Mood." – Daron Pearce, Tipp-CHepler has performed at the Indianapolis Jazz Fest, Arts Garden, IMA, Jazz Kitchen, Penrod Art Fair, and University of Indianapolis. In 2001, Dave was awarded an individual artist project grant through “Arts In Indiana” which helped produce the "Dave Hepler 4" recording.Quad Citians can count on Free entertainment featuring local and regional artists in a variety of musical performances, visual art exhibit openings, literary and dramatic presentations on the First Friday of each month from September through May at the Quad City Arts Center.
