Anyone interested in becoming a Davenport Police office is invited to attend three applicant workshops scheduled for Jan. 18, 21 and 24 to learn more about the position, qualifications and hiring process.

The Jan. 18 workshop is at the Davenport Police Department, 416 Harrison St., from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. On Jan. 21, applicants can attend a workshop from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Davenport Public Library Fairmount Street branch, 3000 Fairmount St. The Jan. 24 workshop is from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the North Family YMCA, 624 W. 53rd St.
