SCOTT COUNTY, IOWA (April 16, 2026) — On Wednesday, April 15, at approximately 6:31PM, Davenport Police responded to the 1900 block of E 38th St in reference to the report of shots fired.

Investigators located handgun casings on scene.

During the investigation, a gunshot victim arrived at the hospital in a private vehicle, which initiated their lockdown protocols.

The victim, an eighteen-year-old female, was treated for serious injuries and is in stable condition.

Following a thorough investigation, Davenport Police arrested and charged Travyzz Binion, nineteen, with the following:

• Attempted Murder

• Assault While Displaying a Weapon

• Going Armed with Intent

• Intimidation With a Dangerous Weapon

• Person Ineligible to Carry Weapon

• Willful Injury with Serious Injury

• Reckless Use of Firearm with Serious Injury

• Possession with Intent to Deliver

• Drug Tax Stamp

• Drug Paraphernalia

This incident remains under investigation; no further information is available at this time.
