DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 26, 2019) — The Davenport Public Library is now providing patrons the ability to stream up to 3 hours of music each day as part of its online music offerings. This enhancement is in addition to the 5 songs per week that patrons can download from Freegal Music Service, music they can keep that is free and legal (Freegal).

This provides Davenport cardholders increased-access to the over 15 million songs, from over 40,000 recording labels, including the complete local catalog of Sony Music Entertainment.

The Freegal Music Service has free mobile apps available in the Apple® App Store and Google Play®.

"We're the River Cities' Reader, and we've kept the Quad Cities' only independently owned newspaper alive and free since 1993.

So please help the Reader keep going with your one-time, monthly, or annual support. With your financial support the Reader can continue providing uncensored, non-scripted, and independent journalism alongside the Quad Cities' area's most comprehensive cultural coverage." - Todd McGreevy, Publisher
