CLIVE, Iowa  – April 27, 2018 – A routine lunch break became anything but for a Davenport woman.

Tara A. Hahn, 39, claimed the 39th of 43 top prizes of $50,000 available in the Iowa Lottery’s “Super Crossword” scratch game.

Hahn bought her ticket at QC Mart, 1403 Eagle Ridge Rd. in Le Claire, before returning to work at J&H Painting.

“I went back to work, was sitting outside the job site scratching it, realized I won and thought I was going crazy!” she said.

Hahn claimed her prize on April 20 at the lottery’s regional office in Cedar Rapids. She plans to use her winnings to pay off her truck.

She also said she’ll continue playing the Crossword scratch games, her favorites.

“I’ll probably still stick with them,” she said. “I say there’s more than one $50,000 winner.”

Super Crossword is a $5 scratch game. More details about how to play this game, and the number of prizes still up for grabs in it, can be found on the Iowa Lottery’s website, www.ialottery.com.
