BETTENDORF, IOWA (January 13, 2026) — Dave Herrell, President and CEO of Visit Quad Cities, has been appointed to serve as Co-Chair of the Destinations International (DI) Membership Committee and the Social Impact Committee for 2026, the world’s largest and most respected association for destination organizations and professionals. In addition, Joan Kranovich, Vice President of Business Growth and Director, Sports QC, has been selected to serve as a committee member of the 30 Under 30 Alumni Council.
The DI Membership Committee provides input on strategies to increase membership engagement, interaction, and involvement; identifies ways to measure membership satisfaction and priorities; and assists in developing strategies to grow DI’s global membership. The Social Impact Committee focuses on initiatives, research, and partnerships to position the sector competitively and to create an environment of belonging within the industry.

The Destinations International 30 Under 30 Alumni Council serves as a leadership and engagement body for graduates of the association’s 30 Under 30 program. Its purpose is to foster continued professional growth, connection, and industry involvement among alumni while supporting Destinations International’s mission to develop future leaders within the destination organization industry. The Council provides a platform for alumni to collaborate, mentor current 30 Under 30 participants, share best practices, and contribute to initiatives that advance leadership development, diversity of thought, and long-term engagement within the global destinations community.
