DES MOINES, IOWA (August 8, 2019) — "DLH Upward 122," the 2,710 pound Angus bull owned by DLH Angus of Indianola, outweighed the competition to win the Super Bull contest judged Thursday at the 2019 Iowa State Fair.
Triple M Farms of Bloomfield took second place with their 2,624 pound Hereford bull, "Domino," and 2GTHR Chianina of Polk City took third place with their 2,526 pound Chianina bull, "Mamma's Boy."
"DLH Upward 122," as well as the Big Boar and Big Ram, will be on display at the Iowa State Fair in the Cattle, Swine and Sheep Barns, respectively, through August 18.
The Iowa State Fair is one of the oldest and largest agricultural and industrial expositions in the country and the single largest event in the state.
