MOLINE, ILLINOIS (December 29, 2025) — A reminder that East Moline BMX Speedway will host a weekend of high-energy racing as it welcomes the World Series of Concrete and Gold Cup Qualifying Events from Thursday, January 1, through Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the QCCA Expo Center, 2621 4th Avenue, Rock Island, Illinois. The event is free and open to spectators.

More than 300 riders from across the Midwest, representing approximately six states, are expected to compete in this USA BMX-sanctioned event, featuring racers of all ages, from first-time riders to seasoned competitors with decades of experience.

Event Schedule:

  • Thursday, January 1

Double Pointer

Registration: 6-­­­7PM

Racing begins: ASAP

  • Friday, January 2

Double Pointer

Registration: 6-7PM

Racing begins: ASAP after registration closes

  • Saturday, January 3

Registration: 9:30-11AM

World Series of Concrete: First race of the day starting at 11AM.

Illinois State Qualifying Race: To start directly after the first race.

Racing begins: ASAP after registration closes.

  • Sunday, January 4

Gold Cup Qualifier

Registration: 10:30AM-12:30PM

Racing begins: ASAP after registration closes.

As the only place in the world to host cement flat-track BMX racing, the Quad Cities continues to draw riders from across the region. BMX racing has been a local staple for 34 years and has gained international recognition, including its feature in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
