Riverssance Festival of Fine Art is a premier outdoor art fair held in beautiful Lindsay Park, Davenport, just off of East River Drive in the Village of East Davenport. A public parking lot is available at the south end of Mound Street. The Barley House Band will kick off the music on Saturday, followed at 12:30 p.m. by the bestowal of the 2017 Harley Award to Jeanne O'Melia. The Harley Award recognizes a special contribution to visual arts in our area.

A beloved multi-media artist of the Quad Cities who now lives on her family farm near Princeton, O'Melia also pioneered the Villa Montessori School in Moline, the first Montessori in Illinois. O'Melia also was a founding renter in Bucktown Center for the Arts, where she continues to show her work. Her lively creations often incorporate found objects, including litter that she has upcycled into her art. As well, she creates cyanotypes, assembled sculptures, watercolors, oils and giant papier-mâché figures.

Riverssance wouldn't be possible without the generosity of our sponsors and media partners: City of Davenport, Smart Toyoya, Rivermont Collegiate, Hanson Watson Associates, dphilms, KWQC-TV6, Mix 96 and the River Cities' Reader.

Riverssance raises funds to support area visual art programs throughout the year.
