On December 25, 2017 at approximately 12:34 AM, Blue Grass Fire, Buffalo Fire, the Scott County

Sheriff’s Office, Buffalo Police Department and the Blue Grass Police Department were dispatched to a structure fire at the 300 block of Salem Street in Blue Grass. Four people were inside the home at the time that the fire started. One of the occupants was able to exit the residence and was transported to the hospital but later passed away. The three other people that were inside the home were unable to escape and perished inside. The State Fire Marshall, Scott County Sheriff’s Office and Police Investigators are still searching for clues as to the cause of the fire. Names of the victims are not being released at this time.
