MOLINE, ILLINOIS (May 8, 2023) — Flower and Co, a full-service floral shop, is open at 1520 6th Avenue in Moline.
In addition to a wide variety of flowers and plants, Flower and Co offers interactive experiences through classes and a bouquet bar in the shop. At the bouquet bar, customers can choose their own combination of flowers, greenery, and dry-fill for a personalized bouquet.
“People like to be creative and do their own thing,” said Charleigh Lennox, Owner of Flower and Co. “They want to feel like they were able to do something, to make it themselves instead of someone making a bouquet for them. The bouquets are $10, $20, or $30 depending on whether they want a pretty, prettier, or prettiest bouquet — that’s what we call the different sizes!”
Although her shop is newly opened, Lennox is not new to the floral industry, and the energetic twenty-year-old is grateful to open her own business.
“My family owned a shop in Pekin, Illinois, and I grew up in the shop and helped,” said Lennox. “In high school, I was a creative arts student, and I always knew I wanted to do something creative and different. I wanted to work for myself, and all of this is possible through Flower and Co.”
