DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 20, 2019) — Gilda’s Club will host a free workshop for people affected by cancer entitled: "Frankly Speaking about Cancer: Metastatic Breast Cancer". The program will explore metastatic breast cancer treatment, side-effect management and psychosocial aspects of the illness. This free workshop will take place on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, 5:30-7:30PM, at Gilda’s Club Quad Cities, 1234 East River Drive. Dinner will be served at 5:30, and the presentation will start at 6:00.

“People living with cancer and their loved ones want to know about the most recent advances in cancer research so that they can identify their best treatment options,” said Anita Shaft, Program Manager of Gilda’s Club. “By taking an active role in their treatment decisions, people with cancer can improve their quality of life.”
